CELPE-Bras
The
Certificate of Proficiency in the Portuguese Language for Foreigners,
granted by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. It is one of the
requirements for enrollment for graduate and post-graduate courses
on Brazilian universities.
The examinations test the ability to communicate orally and in writing
in Brazilian Portuguese in a variety of daily situations.
Any non- Portuguese-speaking person, older than 16 years, with the
level of education equivalent to fundamental Brazilian education
can participate.
Registration:
on the site www.mec.gov.br/sesu/celpe the candidate can fill out
the registration form and pay the registration fee at CEB and at
the same time submitting a copy of a document of identification.
The date and time of the examination will be informed upon registration.
